Dr. Aymen Khaleel (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree from the University of Anbar, Al Anbar, Iraq, in 2013, the M.Sc. degree from Turkish Aeronautical Association University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey, 2023. He worked at the office of the vice president for research and innovation (VPRI), Koç University, first as a full-time project engineer while pursuing his PhD studies and then as a postdoctoral research fellow. His research interests include joint communications and sensing, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces-based systems (RISs), MIMO systems, index modulation, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), from theoretical and practical perspectives with a main focus on system design and mathematical analyses.
